SC800 /SC820 SERIES OVERVIEW
The SC800 SERIES is powered by the Marvell XScale PXA270 520MHz Processor and 1GB ROM & 128MB RAM memory. In addition, integrated WiFi 802.11b/g, GPRS/EDGE and Bluetooth® make data transmission easily and immediately available. There is a sunlight readable 3.5 inch high resolution touch screen for clear viewing both indoor and outdoor. SC800 is designed to be more durable than a consumer-grade PDA. Considering the working environment is unpredictable, SC800 SERIES have IP65 certification, for protection against dust and water spray. The rugged design allows SC800 SERIES to withstand a 1.5 meter drop onto concrete. The optional 1D or 2D barcode scanner, GPS or RFID reader are suitable for a range of applications, including Transportation, Distribution, Warehousing, Retail, Logistics, and Manufacturing.
There are also varied accessories for SC800 SERIES such as Cradle, 4 Slot Battery Charger, Car Charging Adapter, High Capacity Battery Pack and Holster. According to different applications and environments, users can choose among the various accessories related to their business needs. Moreover, SDK & demo programs are available for users to develop their own application programs and demonstration.
The difference between SC800 and SC820 is only the Numeric Keypad or the Alpha Keypad.
